My name is Anna Ihana, and I have called Sauganash School my home for the past twenty-seven years. I began my professional career as a teaching assistant and found my calling to pursue a degree in education through working with the incredible students and professionals at Sauganash School.
My experiences as an immigrant who speaks Assyrian, Arabic, and English inspired me to obtain a Master of Science in Bilingual-Bicultural Education allowing me to create a curriculum that meets the needs of our English Learners. Recognizing the social emotional development of English Learners led me to obtain a Master of Arts in School Counseling.
On a personal note, I enjoy traveling and have been to Australia, Mexico, Lebanon, Dubai, Egypt, Kuwait, Iraq, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, and many Caribbean Islands.
I have an open door, therefore, please feel comfortable to stop me for a fun chat, a concern, suggestions, or conversation regarding your child.
